It’s nice to find more companies making mastectomy bras in an array of pretty colours instead of the usual boring beige, black & white. These pocketed bras are only £28 and matching knickers are £12 from Royce Lingerie (01295 265557) and are available at a selection of Debenham’s stores. Also check out Nicola Jane and Figleaves has some great styles and colours!
Foundation garments - good bras and knickers are essentail to making any garment look it’s best. Most women, about 80% are wearing the wrong size bra, it’s important to get fitted about every six months. Many department stores offer a certified mastectomy fitter to help fit you for your prosthesis and bras from start to finish.

How exciting, I love the Miller’s Residence. It’s one of my favourite hotels, it’s so charming and eclectic and it has it’s own brand of gin - Martin Miller Gin!

Juliet Sybil Johns and Hayley Goodwin model Madame V’s new collection.

And it’s the dashing David Piper! Check out his blog at www.lovaganda.blogspot.com.

Today I went to visit Victoria Holt at her studio in London. Victoria launched Fred & Ginger at London Fashion Week 2007, before that she was the senior designer at Jenny Packham. Victoria designs luxury lingerie in French silk, satins, chiffons and Chantilly lace. It’s all gorgeous, sexy and slightly naughty with a very girly vintage feel. Her collection of French knickers, teddies, bed jackets with puffy sleeves and 50’s style basques comes in rich raspberry, teal and parrot green. Fred & Ginger is all about detail: the cut of the shorts, the silk covered buttons and lace in just the right places! I like using lingerie in shoots; Fred & Ginger feels like more than just lingerie, maybe because its vintage feel gives it a bit of attitude.
Just in case you need to dress your man - or undress him, Victoria also designs high-end underwear for men that is packaged in discreet black matt boxes!

Fred & Ginger is finished by hand and made in the UK.
